About Linda Tucker

Linda Tucker is an energetic, well organized, and detail-oriented Event and Meeting Manager professional who began her career with the Maryland Chamber of Commerce before joining American Veterans (AMVETS), an organization that is dedicated to enhancing and safeguarding the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and improving the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services. While with AMVETS, Linda worked on several national events with multi-million dollar budgets. She also coordinated international meetings and travel for high-ranking organization officials, as well as coordinated activities for the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, during the Presidential Inaugurations in 2000 and 2004. 

After AMVETS, Linda opened her own event planning and consulting business. She earned a certificate in Event Management for George Washington University. She also has a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Arts in International Political Economy from New York University. 

Linda is involved in her community and dedicates her time to charitable organizations, including her local catholic school parish and serving as a USA Swimming Certified Deck Official. Linda is married with three daughters.
